At Chatten School lunches are a little different. 

The way lunches are delivered to our pupils will differ depending on their programme.  They may have targets around preparing meals, tolerating foods or tolerating social interactions.  This will effect how lunch works for your child. 

Depending on your child's programme they may utilise the hall, cafe, shops, life-skills room or another school or community utility.

Much like any other school we will provide food for lunches and snacks via one of the following methods:

1. You can send lunches and snacks in to school yourself.

2. You can pay for lunches via the Office or Parent Pay in the same way you would pay for school dinners in another school.

3. You can apply for free school dinners.

For pupils who are not cooking their own meals we do have a fantastic school cook who prepares lunches for pupils.  If you are interested in learning more about this then please call the school office.
